Music Rambles

I've been through a whirlwind of tonal whiplash these past few days. It began with a hyperfixation on the pirate metal genre, digging into Alestorm, Wuthering Heights, Lagerstein, The Privateer, etc. (number one recommendation from my brief dive: Dreaded Skies by Lagerstein. extremely silly) I then turned around to a bit of future bass after I saw someone post Bad Blood by MEMODEMO. Still need to listen to more of his work, but in the meantime I was interrupted by femtanyl (one of my favorite hyperpop/breakcore artists) dropping AND IM GONE yesterday. A bit calmer compared to most of her other works, but still very highly recommended. (blood/minor gore tw for the cover artwork on pretty much all of her music, including AND IM GONE)

Then, today, I stumbled across KEYGEN CHURCH's new release La Chiave Del Mio Amor, which is actually a teaser for their upcoming album Nel Nome Del Codice. Very excited for that to release in full.

I am exhausted.
